For this exhibition, we selected phrases from a variety of sources on subjects such as time, space, color, and distance and proceeded to make images based off those sentences. We are interested in the conjugate elements made visible through the combination of their interpreted translations. It was our aim to use photography to describe itself by transcribing the written word into visual imagery. By experimenting with image combinations we hope to engage the viewer in a conceptual conversation through the exchange of ideas.
